Real Life Advice For Everyday and Practical Use
Hello everyone, my name is Sophia Reed and welcome to my blog. I am a single mother, a single (never been married) woman over 30, and a Christian. I have a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling, I am a National Certified Counselor, and I should be finishing my doctorate in the next few months in Human Behavior.
My blog was created for sophisticated women who know that beauty goes beyond the skin. For the woman who wants to put her best foot forward in everything she does, including her relationships, her career, her appearance, and her relationship with God. As a single mother, who has had many struggled of her own (read my single mother story here), I am a strong believer, that a woman can have whatever she wants in life with faith and a hard work.
My Favorite Quote Is From Marianne Williamson and it states.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone and as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
I truly believe that everyone was put on this Earth for a reason, we should want our light to shine as brightly as possible, and we can look fabulous doing it.
