I am about to show you Bible verses for women’s beauty that prove that as a Christian it is okay to care about your appearance and to be that hot chick walking down the street looking fly. Now before you get your panties all up in a bunch, and tell me Christians cannot be hot or care about their appearance hear me out.
Because that is what this entire blog post is about and of course I have a video below that you can watch on why it is not a sin to care about your appearance that you can watch below. Don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube Channel by clicking here.
When it comes to a Christian woman and beauty I want to get something out of the way as to what I am and am NOT talking about. Because Lord knows that so many women associate being HOT with showing more skin. And of course that is not what I am talking about.
Bible Verses For Womens’ Beauty What I am NOT talking about when it comes beauty and the Bible is
- Dressing with your body parts hanging out.
- Showing too much skin.
- Wearing tight and/or inappropriate clothes.
- Posing sexually suggestive on Instagram or any form of social media.
These things are a very world view of sexiness and/or beauty. The more you show the hotter you are. NO! What I am talking about is the natural feminine allure that women have when it comes to their overall demeanor.
There is nothing wrong with being feminine, beautiful, and being a Christian. And just so that you do not call me a liar I am going to show you some Bible verses about women’s beauty that you can apply to your everyday life as a woman. And then we can go into how you can harness your feminine allure as a Christian woman without feeling like you are going to burn in hell.
Bible Verses For Women’s Beauty ~ Femininity and Christianity Let’s Look At Esther
I also encourage you to read my blog think like a queen to get your king, which also talks about Esther and how she strategically became queen. But for the purpose of this post we are going to address Esther’s feminine energy that she was able to use to become queen.
Also you can check out my video below for additional tips and tricks on how Esther used her beauty and feminine ways to persuade the king.
1. Bible Verses About Women’s Beauty
Bible Verses For Women’s Beauty: “The girl had a beautiful figure and was lovely to look at.” Esther 2:7
What this means in today’s terms is that Esther had a banging body and that people liked to look at her. But notice what the Bible verse did not say. Esther had a beautiful figure that she let hang out all over the place. As a woman when you wear clothes you can wear something that is soft and feminine and still show off your curves in a way that is NOT VULGAR.
Look at the picture below. Here is a woman that is feminine and appropriate. If you see her walking down the street you would say that is a beautiful woman and notice that she is not doing the most to attract attention to her body.
This is why I am telling you that you do not have to hide your body under tons of clothes because you are a Christian. You are a woman and you have a woman’s body. People notice Esther’s body for the same reason.
- She was just walking down the street in whatever Jews used to wear back in the day and because she was naturally pretty with a nice body people just noticed it and it was not a sin.
- She was not dressing a way to make people lust after her but she was dressing in a way that was appropriate for a woman that also brought about her natural beauty.
- She was not ashamed about her looks or her body and she did not feel the need to hide in a huge potato sack in order to cover up her womanly charms. Just like she did not feel the need to overly flaunt them.
For myself, I am a curvier woman because that is how God made me. So look at the picture below. I am in a dress that is appropriate and it naturally shows off my shape. I have on long sleeves and my boobs are not hanging out.
And that is okay, I want women to not be ashamed of their bodies and feel they have to hide them. Because God made you a woman. As long as you are not overtly inappropriate that is what matters.

2. Bible Verses About Women’s Beauty
Bible Verses For Women’s Beauty: “Before a young woman’s turn came to go in to King Xerxes, she had to complete twelve months of beauty treatments prescribed for the women, six months with oil of myrrh and six with perfumes and cosmetics.” Esther 2:12
Before Esther came before the king she had to complete beauty treatments. She had to make her skin look nice and she had to smell good. I wrote a blog about it not being a sin to care about your appearance. I am NOT talking about vanity. What I am talking about is her doing specific things to increase her attractiveness.
Have you ever been around a man that smelled really good? Doesn’t it automatically up their attractiveness in your eyes? So it is the same for women, she was making herself more physically attractive to the king. And she got the king.
So what we can learn here is IF you want to wear makeup that is okay, if you want to wear perfume that is okay. You are not going to burn in hell for wanting to wear or to like these things. Because as with Esther, it helped her attract the king.

Now, Let’s Look At Rebekah For More ~ Bible Verses For Women’s Beauty
Rebekah was the wife is Isaac. Just to give you a little background on how this relationship came to be Abraham, Isaac’s father, was very old and wanted his son to be comforted (if you know what I mean). And so he sent his servant out so that he could find a wife for Isaac.
To make a long story short, the servant prayed for the Lord to reveal to him a wife for Isaac. As a side note, I want to tell you that God cares about finding you a a good relationship (click here to read my blog). But this brings us to the next Bible verse.
3. Bible Verses About Women’s Beauty
Bible verses about women’s beauty ~ “The woman was very beautiful, a virgin; no man had ever slept with her.” Genesis 24:16
I want you to think of the following Bible verse this way, as a way of talking about having some type of modesty to her. That is why I feel the need to point out that being beautiful is okay but dressing in a way that people may mistake you for a prostitute (which that actually happened to me in my 20’s) is a problem.
We can talk about the idea of slut-shaming in the way you dress. BUT let’s be real if you are walking down the street and someone thinks you are a hooker then you may want to reconsider your dress.
In my younger 20’s I fell into the hype of thinking it was cute to let everything hang out and that was me being alluring. I was on vacation in Miami and about 3 men mistook me for a prostitute and offered to pay me.
And see that is where we have a problem. Something is wrong with what you are wearing if people are offering to pay you for sex, which is why I think the Bible verse about Rebekah is so significant. Yes she was beautiful but she also had some modesty in the sense that she was not like the woman in the picture below. DOING WAY TOO MUCH.
To be clear, am I telling you that you are doomed if you are not a virgin. No I am not because I am a single mom and I have a child, meaning that I have had sex. But I do encourage celibacy (click my blog here).
What I am trying to point out is that nowhere does being feminine mean that you are out here having sex to make yourself more attractive to men and dressing in a way that attracts that type of attention.
Bible Verses For Women’s Beauty ~ Beauty and Christianity Songs of Solomon
Now that we have gotten these two women out of the way I want to touch on an entire book of the Bible in which it talks about the interaction between man and women. Specifically how Solomon is really digging his wife, sexually.
I encourage you to read Song of Solomon Chapter 4 in its entirety so you can really see what I mean. This chapter will give you a lot of Bible verses about women’s beauty. And also feel free to watch my video about Christianity and sex which is below.
Because the entire Songs of Solomon is talking about a man and wife and what they are going to do to each other on their wedding night. If you catch my drift. And even as Christians, in the right context we need to learn that is nothing to be ashamed about. Once again feel free to subscribe to my channel by clicking here.
Now let’s take more Bible verses about women’s beauty from the songs of Solomon.
4. Bible Verses About Women’s Beauty
Bible verses for women’s beauty: Your lips are like a scarlet thread, and your mouth is lovely. Your cheeks are like halves of a pomegranate behind your veil. Your hair is like a flock of goat leaping down the slopes of Gilead.” Song of Solomon Chapter 4: 3
Bible Verses About Women’s Beauty #5
Bible verses for women’s beauty: “Your two breasts are like two fawns, twins of a gazelle that graze among the lilies.” Song of Solomon 4: 5
Bible Verses About Women’s Beauty #6
Bible verses for women’s beauty: “Your lips drip nectar, my bride; honey and milk are under your tongue; the fragrance of your garments is like the fragrance of Lebanon.” Song of Solomon Chapter 4:11
Solomon was talking about his bride on his wedding day but I am sure that he did not just open his eyes on his wedding day and notice that he was VERY attracted to his bride, physically that is.
He talks about her physical appearance and his admiration for EVERY part of her body. He literally says her breast are like two gazelles and he wants to mount them! All of this is in the BIBLE!
What we can take from this is that being beautiful, your own form of beautiful, and presenting your best self to the world can help you as a woman and your allure. You can feel how you want about it but typically when a man sees you he is attracted to your outside first and then he gets to know your inside.
And ideally even as you date and are in a relationship you still want him to be attracted to your outside. I know Solomon’s wife did. And once again THAT IS OKAY. Bible Verses About Women’s Beauty & What All this means for you as a Christian woman
What I am saying that beauty and Christianity can belong in the same sentence. You can look nice, you look visually appealing to men but you can also cover it up and not let it all hang out in order to look sexy.
Like with Solomon, there is nothing wrong with a man being sexually attracted to you. It is a natural thing between man and woman. I do not think that people are just walking down the aisle with women they are not attracted to sexually.
- But just like Rebekah and in the Songs of Solomon, being sexually attracted to someone does not mean that they just gave it up to a man because he said so. And dressed in a way that made men only be attracted to their sexual attributes.
- As we see with Esther, femininity is an allure that women can naturally have. There is nothing wrong with embracing it and there is nothing wrong with enhancing it as long as it is done the RIGHT way.
You can be just as sexy in a dress with long sleeves that comes down to your knees more so then you can be sexy in an outfit in which all of your body is hanging out. It just depends on how you come across and how you carry yourself. And I hope that I have given you the tools to ensure that you are pulling it off correctly in a way that God would approve of.
