Are you looking for the best devotionals for women? Then I am going to give you a comprehensive list of what type of devotionals you should be reading as a woman.
What I have always said is that women hold a special place in God’s heart with our own unique gifts and talents. You can watch my video below for more on the REAL role of a woman in church and don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel by clicking here.
Now that we have gotten that out of the way let’s get into the best devotionals for women. (post contains affiliate links).
Best devotionals for women #1 His Princess: Love Letters from Your King (click to buy)
I love this devotional because anything that refers to me as royalty I am all for. But all jokes aside I wrote about women forgetting their royal position in a blog that you can read here. When I was in my 20’s I would go through bad relationships and let men treat me any kind of way.
But when you realize that you are princess the child of a King, it gives you a different perspective on yourself. You start to remember who are you all of a sudden and you do not tolerate people treating you with disrespect. I love this devotional because it is a reminder that you are the daughter of a king. I also have a video that you can watch below.
#2 Becoming the Woman God Wants Me to Be: A 90-Day Guide to Living the Proverbs 31 Life (Click here to buy)
This is one of the best devotional for women because it covers so many topics that are important to women. Some of them include fashion, health, family, and fitness. If you are a reader of my blog, then I always promote be godly in everything you do. That includes your fitness and that includes how you look. It is not a sin to care about how you step out if the house (see my blog here). And I also have a video on below as well.
#3 The Straight Forward No-Nonsense Single Mom Devotional: (Click here)
I mean you guys know that this devotional had to make the list because it is a devotional that I wrote myself. And it is a bestseller. I specifically wrote in a way that you can relate to.
I personally got pregnant at 23 and had my son as 24, and I only wished there was a devotional out there like this for me when I became a mother. I had to go through a lot of struggle and a lot of leveling up my life to get the life that I wanted.
Which is what I talk about in my book. It does not just talk about single mom problems, but it is one of the best devotionals for women particularly the single mom because it talks about your concerns as a mom and how to make you better. You can also check out my video below on my single mom level up story.
Best devotionals for women #4 Trusting God Day by Day: 365 Daily Devotions (Click to Buy)
This is one of the best devotionals for women because it is by Joyce Meyer and I love anything she does. She has such a no-nonsense and straight forward approach which is why I think that her devotional is perfect for women. She really challenges you to abandon your foolishness and not look at the world’s way of doing things but God’s ways of doing things. In the age of social media, being naked online, and so many women doing the wrong things and calling them okay; it is so important to remember that as children of God we do not need to feed into that.
#5 Girl Defined: God’s Radical Design for Beauty, Femininity, and Identity (Click Here To Buy)
This is not a devotional per se but it is oh so worth reading. If you go over to their website Girl Defined, then you will see exactly what I am talking about. Their message is geared toward the Christian woman in a way that is relevant, cool, and enjoyable. These two women actually used to be models so they know what it is like to live in the world of glam and still needing to remain true to themselves and to God.
#6 Fix It Jesus For Single Women Only (Click Here To Buy)
So this is the second book written by me that is specifically for single women. Which makes it one of the best devotionals for women. It does not just talk about relationships, but purpose, and how to improve yourself overall. I do not feel that any woman was just made to sit here and watch the paint dry on the way. We should have the best that God wants us to have in all areas of our life.
#7 Too Blessed to be Stressed: 3-Minute Devotions for Women (Click to buy)
This devotional is a very straight and to the point devotional, added with a dash of humor. The devotionals are very short and are good to read on the go and you do not have a lot of time. And more than anything, it is one that is good to read that relates to you as a woman and that is always enjoyable to read.
#8 Pink Lips Empty Hearts (Click to buy)
The next of the best devotionals for women is this book. So this is not really a devotional either, but I love Heather Lindsey and the encouragement she offers to young women. If you have not had a chance to visit her site then I highly recommend you do so now.
This is the first book that she wrote, which is why I think it will resonate with you as a woman. The whole idea of pink lips and empty hearts, is that you yeah you may have makeup on and look good on the outside; but if your heart is empty what does any of that matter? This whole concept alone is why I think this book would be perfect to add to your collection.
Best devotionals for women #9 Embraced: 100 Devotions to Know God Is Holding You Close
This devotional was written by a New York bestselling author. If you have been hurt or are going through some struggles then this devotional is the devotional for you. The layout is amazing and so feminine, and the content really encourages you to step out change somethings about yourself, and really develop that relationship with God.
As I always say the most important thing that you SHOULD be doing as a Christian is to have your relationship with God. That is legit the whole purpose of the Holy Spirit (click my link here) and what Jesus was about. So anything that brings you closer to that is a win.
#10 The Dream Giver: Following Your God-Given Destiny (Click To Buy)
The 10th of the best devotionals for women is the dream giver but this is not a devotional either but it is one of those books that you have to read. If you have ever read The Alchemist it has a little flavor of that, except for it is a Christian book and talks about how to pursue the things out of life that God wants you to pursue.
It tells a story that so many of us go through and the second half of the books break everything down and how the story relates to you and going after what you want in life in the Christian way of course. You know this book is good if was translated to other languages.
These are the top best devotionals for women. I know that some of them are NOT devotionals but either way, the WHOLE point of this list is for you to become spiritually fed and be a better person. And all of them do exactly that.
If you know someone who could read this post don’t forget to share it with them.
