If you want to know where to meet singles in your 30s, then you need first to put yourself in a mature mindset. If you are over 30 trying to meet single men at an 18 and up club on a college campus, then this is problem number one.

For now, I am going to give you ideas on where all you single ladies can meet single men in your 30s. NOT just to meet singles, but also some productive men and good quality men. Where to meet singles in your 30s ~#1 Happy Hour
I feel like I always say this in every one of my blogs when it comes to meeting good quality men. Just go to happy hour, because happy hour tends to be one of those things you do as you mature. Pick a nice restaurant or a happy hour in the business district. To make sure that you are more likely to run into professionals and men who are more established in their careers. Increasing the likelihood that you will run into 30 something-year-old men.
Where to meet singles in your 30s ~#2 Hobbies
If you want to meet men who are in their 30s, then try hobbies that are geared to 30-year-old people. Do not join a Pokemon Go meetup and then wonder why everyone there is under the age of 25. That is because you are choosing the wrong hobby.
- Try going to art galleries or events.
- Try going to charities.
- Try joining a 30 plus meet up that is gear toward singles.
- Try traveling more. Forgo the spring break trip to Cancun and go to destinations with a more versatile and mature crowd.
- Try going to empowerment and business seminars.
- Cultural events or sporting events.
I always feel that it is important to have hobbies and goals of your own because it shows that you have your life together and when you have your life together you attract higher quality men. Watch my video below for more on that.
Where to meet singles in your 30s ~ #3 Go to places where you have to dress up
I remember when I went to a New Years Event in DC (see my blog here), and it was more of a formal event. The fact of the matter is that events or even parties where you have to get more dressed up tend to attract an older crowd. Most of these events have tickets that you have to pay for (that a 20 something-year-old is not going to pay for) and 30 and up people tend to gravitate to events that are more formal.
Where to meet singles in your 30s ~ #4 Alumni Parties
When you think of the world alumni that means that typically someone has graduated from a college or was in a fraternity and now they have an alumni party. Hence why the men in there tend to be 30 plus.
Try the following ideas:
- Alumni college parties (It could be your alma mater or someone else’s.)
- Alumni fraternity parties
- Alumni football or basketball watching parties. If a college team is good at a sport, then most of the alumni will have a party. For example, I got my BS degree at VCU, and they are good at basketball. There are times where they make the NCAA tournament, and there are TONS of alumni parties to watch these games.
Where to meet singles in your 30s ~ #5 At Work
Now I must warn you to be careful at work. BE SO CAREFUL. Do not just talk to every man at work you see trying to date them because then you may get a bad reputation. You can read my blog here on how to date someone at work. BUT many people do find marriage and long-term relationships at work. You already have a leg at work by knowing what the man does and how he has as a person. Since you see them at work in some capacity, it is better than actually meeting and getting to know someone from scratch.
Where to meet singles in your 30s ~ #6 Live Music Events
Once again this can be vague so think of a particular type of live music event. Think of music that 30 plus-year-old men want to listen to. Think Jazz club or even oldie but goodie music artist type concerts. You are much more likely to meet 30 plus men in these types of environments.
Where to meet singles in your 30s ~ #7 Dog parks
I am not a huge fan of dogs, but I understand that many people are. People bring their dogs to work, and also people bring their dogs to dog parks. Some of these dog parks are even better than human children parks. So if you have a dog, then you may want to hit up a well known and nice dog park to meet 30 something single men.
Where to meet singles in your 30s ~ #8 Gym
There are men of all ages who love to work out, and the gym could be an original way to meet men. There are men of all ages there, so once again the type of gym you go to can make a difference in the kind of men you meet. I had a gym near my job, which is a business district and is surrounded by million-dollar homes.
What this means is that people who go to that gym are either going after work (which means they are businessmen) OR it means they live around the area. This means that if they can afford a million-dollar home, they are probably more established in their career, which tends to be men that are 30 plus.
Where to meet singles in your 30s ~ #9 Running and or biking
Like the same concept as the gym in the sense that many men can be health-conscious but choose to take their working out, outside. Also, as I mentioned trying to do these things in a business district or a beautiful area so that you are likely to run into 30 something-year-old men.
Choosing somewhere like Central Park to go run in at Manhattan may not get you the same results as running in South Central California. Try to go somewhere that other people tend to go and is known for having the type of man you want to attract. Like I mentioned before, running on a college campus will have you more likely to run into a bunch of college-aged men.
Where to meet singles in your 30s ~ #10 Being Out and About
Men go shopping too, they go clothes shopping, grocery shopping, they are not some hermits that sit around and do nothing. I know I am going to sound like a broken record, BUT there is a way to maximize your results in doing this.
Going to areas that are more geared toward professionals, if there is a shopping center around condos. These are more likely to give you a man in his 30s. Even for myself, when graduated from my undergrad I do not live in the same area that I live in now. I can afford more, something different, and something better.
For example, here in the DC area, a place called National Harbor is a beautiful place to shop. It has a hotel named the Gaylord there, Condos, MGM, a Casino, and many restaurants, shopping, and it is on the water. It is just more likely to meet 30 something-year-old men in these locations.
