This is the battle of the gray wigs. In case you have been living under a rock, gray hair is in! At first, I was a little skeptical of gray wigs, I did not know if it would like right on me or if I would just look like a bad version of an anime character. Nevertheless, I have seen too many great photos of gray hair or people with gray wigs and I knew I had to try this trend.
Since this is not a one size, fit all situation. There is gray hair, silver hair, blue silver hair, and so many other variations. What I decided to do was pick to gray wigs that I liked the most and compare both to see what I could come up with.
On To The Battle of The Gray Wigs
The first wig that I chose was the Suzie lace front wig by FreeTress. FreeTress is starting to become one of my favorite brands for the simple fact that they have affordable wig collections and they are coming up with some really unique wig colors. I ended up getting this wig in a silver gray. The wig has darker roots, fades out to gray, and then fades out to white at the bottom of the wig. I felt like I was channeling Storm from the X-men or something. The wig is long and it has a good realistic part in it. This wig is also heat resistant up to 400F degrees so you can straighten it.
The bad about this wig is that it shed a lot. And since the hairs are white that can be embarrassing if you are walking around leaving a trail of white hair behind you. In addition, the lace on this wig is very hard and easy to rip. In fact, the lace ripped twice in two separate areas as I was trying to put the wig on! Aside from those two cons, I love this wig. It is super cute and super affordable. And it is heat resistant and can be straightened. Click here to buy. Even if you are not feeling the gray color but the style the wig comes in alot of colors. Which is why, as you can see, FreeTress is becoming my favorite brand.
Also it comes in many colors.
The second wig is another wig by FreeTress and her name is Cameron. This wig is shorter than the wig above and it is also in a blue silver color. If you watch my video below, the wig shows up way bluer than it actually is. In real life, it is grayer with just a tint of blue. The part on this wig was the best and very realistic. In addition, the lace was much softer and did not rip. I was actually was bold enough to wear this wig to work. This wig has minimal shedding is very affordable as. Last but not least, this wig is 400F degrees heat resistant. Click here to buy.
Like the wig above, it too comes in many colors.
Check out my video below on a detailed review of both of these wigs.
