It seems that smoothie bowls are all the craze. But for myself I do not feel like gathering all the fruit and putting it into a blender, that takes too much work. So I have come up with an easy way to make a smoothie bowl that takes way less time and less clean up in the kitchen.
What you will need:
- Fruit (in this case raspberries and blue berries)
- Almond butter or cashews
- Chia seeds
- Whip Cream
The first step was to mix the probiotic with the yogurt. The probiotic is really good for digestion and mixing it in with the yogurt helps give it more of a smoothie texture.
The second step is to mix the chia seeds in with the yogurt. Chia seeds are a good source of protein and iron (read my blog here on chia seeds).
The Third step is to add your topping. In this case it is the cashews and the fruit.
The last step is to top the bowl off with whip cream.
And that is it! Smoothie bowl made easy.
